The Baker Chamber of Commerce met yesterday to update one another on current programs and discuss upcoming events. The Scholarship Committee reported that Taylyn Dukart and Jaxson Hadley of Baker, and Kennedy Tooke of Ekalaka were awarded scholarships for their role in various activities throughout the area.
The Fall Festival will be held in McClain Park and the Fallon Medical Complex parking lot, with plans to include live musicians and a beer garden. The committee is currently looking to hire a DJ to provide music in-between sets.
The group also bid Cheryl Niemberg farewell as she resigned from her role as the Chamber’s Executive Director and announced Shannon Johnson as stepping up to fill the position.
