The Baker City Council met last night in regular session. The highlights of the meeting include that a correction was made to Resolution #672 for the annexation of some land to Runnings. The change was approved as the original Resolution included some wording that didn’t need to be included in the document. Resolution # 675 the intention to cancel the General Election for the office of Mayor and two council members was discussed and a tentative date has been discussed of August 4th to adopt a 30 day notice of intent. The council needs to confer with City Attorney Rich Batterman on the matter. The next council meeting is August 16th at 7 PM in the Fallon County Courtroom.
