Federal officials have filed paperwork for a forfeiture request for suspected drug funds that were confiscated from a vehicle that was passing through Glendive this past May. Officials say the 85,000 dollars that was taken as evidence from the suspects is related to the trafficking of illegal drugs. A Montana Highway Patrol trooper stopped the vehicle for speeding near Glendive on Interstate 94. Several weeks after being stopped in Montana, the same suspects were stopped in Pennsylvania. According to the Pennsylvania State Patrol the two suspects were charged with possession of dangerous drugs. Bond was set at one million dollars, they have not been charged for any crime in Montana.
