North Dakota’s Governor has directed all government agencies to fly the United States and North Dakota flags at half-staff on Friday (March 2nd) in memory of Rev. Billy Graham.
Businesses and individuals are also encouraged to fly their flags at half-staff from sunrise to sunset. Gov. Burgum’s directive is in accordance with a proclamation issued by the President to lower flags to half-staff this Friday.
Graham, who passed away last week at age 99, reached millions of people through his Christian rallies and formed a relationship with every U.S. President since Harry Truman.
