Explosion North Of Baker Kills Local Man-Update

The Fallon County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the victim of yesterday’s explosion. 39-year-old Chad Tronstad of Baker was killed in the incident. Emergency services and the Fallon County Sheriff’s Office were called at 11:45 yesterday morning North of Baker to a pressured explosion at a work-over rig site. Responding to the scene were Baker Fire, Fallon County Ambulance and Fallon County Sheriff’s Office. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. One other person was injured and taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
