A City Auditor in Dunn Center, ND has been charged with Driving Under the Influence.
Dunn Center authorities found Sadie Lambert at the DC Pub and Grub after responding to a domestic disturbance call at her home. Lambert’s husband told them that after an argument, she left the house intoxicated and was driving her vehicle. When questioned by the police, Lambert told deputies that her car was at a friend’s house and she was given a ride to the pub by someone else.
When authorities questioned her friend, she stated Lambert drove to her house and then walked to the bar. Lambert did admit to driving the car to her friend’s house but plead not guilty to the charge, which has a maximum sentence of 30 days in jail, $1,500, or both. A trial is scheduled for July 18th.
