Two men have admitted to trafficking meth in Sidney at appearances in U.S. District Court in Billings this week. Bobby Payne of Glendive and Anthony Couture of Sidney both pleaded guilty to possession with the intent to distribute in a plea deal with officials. All other counts will be dismissed when both men are sentenced . Payne was in court on Wednesday and Couture had his hearing Thursday. U.S. District Judge Susan Watters has set March 15th for both men to be sentenced and has continued their release. Both men face a possibility of a minimum 10 years to life in prison and a 10 million dollar fine.
